CONSTITUTION: When a glass plate softened by heating is molded into a shape having faces 1, 2 divided with a bending line 3 and a face 4 formed by dividing with bending lines 5, 6, the plate is held between a female mold 9 and a male mold 10 having faces corresponding to the shape, and it is molded y pressing. The female pressing mold 9 is composed of a pressing mold 17 including a part forming a bending line 14 and a pressing mold 18 extending at both sides of the mold 17. The glass plate is first held between the male pressing mold 10 and the split mold 17 of the female mold 9 and pressed, and it is continuously pressed with the both-side pressing mold 18 of the mold 9 and the mold 10 while moving. After finishing molding, both the molds 9, 10 are separated from the molded glass plate, and the plate is tempered by rapid cooling with cold air.
