Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize the output of a laser in a pulse oscillation at each shot by utilizing an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:An optical pulse outputted from a pulse laser oscillation device 1 is divided into two beams 12, 13 with a beam splitter 2. A beam 13 passes through an optical fiber and reaches to a modulator 4 with a time delay. On the other hand a beam 12 is used as an input signal of a detector 5 and an output signal from the detector 5 is amplified by an electric circuit 6, and matching into a suitable electric signal for the modulator is done, and from a moment immediately before a pulse light 14 reaches to the modulator 4 at least, to a moment after the pulse light has just passed through the modulator 4 at least, the modulator is made active. By an electric circuit being adjusted so that a modulation factor of the modulator 4 may be proportional to an intensity of the beam 12, an output beam 15 is maintained constant in its intensity.
