CONSTITUTION:As a head carrier 4 is caused to move to the right, by the relative change of positions of a gear wheel 12, a pulley 10 and a wire 9, the gear wheel 12 rotates to the right and gear wheels 18A, 18B rotate to the left and the rotation of the gear wheel 18A, being applied with force by a spring 21A, is conveyed to gear wheels 17A, 23A and a spool 5A rewinds a ribbon 28. Next, when the carrier 4 is reversed at the right end, the rotation of the gear wheel 12 is reversed and the gear wheels 18A, 18B rotate to the right and the rotation of the gear wheel 18B, being applied with force by a spring 21B, is conveyed to gear wheels 17B, 17A, 23A which cause the spool 5A to continue its rotation.
