Abstract

PURPOSE:To partially remove burrs formed only on the circumference of a hole by sending a medium by means of pressure into the hole from the cathodes provided on both sides of a work by placing the hole between them. CONSTITUTION:Cap shaped metal jigs 9 and 12 are provided on both sides of a work 1 through insulation packings 9a and 12a, on which a hole having burrs 3 on its circumference is provided by means of machining. The work 1 is connected with the anode and the jigs 9 and 12 are connected with the cathode, a medium 6 blended with a carbon particle and an electrolyte of KNO3 is fed by means of pressure into the jigs 9 and the hole 2 by a pump 7, and the interior surface of the hole 2 is machined electrolytically by electrifying among the jigs 9 and 12 and the work through the medium 6. An electric current concentrated at the outskirts of insulation packings 9a and 12a through an edge effect removes the burrs 3. The medium 6 is withdrawn from the jig 12 to a tank 5 and sludge 13 is withdrawn to a sludge tank 15.
