Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to radiate a light energy of blue and red colors and carry out the reproduction of chlorella effectively, by forming a light radiator from a transparent material, and incorporating or enclosing a fluorescent coating material in the transparent material.
CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent coating material is incorporated or enclosed in a transparent material 1 releasing light introduced into a light transmitting cable 2 to make the wavelength of the light energy radiated from the transparent material 1 suitable for the reproduction of chlorella. For example, a powdery fluorescent coating material of magnesium chlorogermanate is incorporated to convert the light energy at a wavelength of 200W420nm into light energy at a wavelength of 655nm. If a liquid fluorescent coating material of organic rhodamine B is enclosed, the light energy at a wavelength of 200W600nm is converted into light energy at a wavelength of 600W700nm and radiated. Thus, the distribution density of light energy can be changed by selecting the type, amount, etc. of the fluorescent coating material.
