Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain pulse laser with stable frequency, by triggering transmission output of transmitting laser to be controlled by local oscilltion laser output of small power. CONSTITUTION:Transmission of a transmitting laser 1 to be controlled is outputted through the first beam splitter BS1. At the same time, output reflected here is applied to the second beam splitter BS2 receiving irradiation from a local oscillation laser 2 which has smaller power than the laser 1 and more stable in frequency by two figures. Next, output synthesized here is applied to a dual distributor 5 via an optical detector 3 and an intermediate frequency amplifier 4. One output divided here in two is applied to an AND circuit 18 via a bandpass filter 8, and amplitude demodulator 9 and a comparator 11. The other is applied to the AND circuit 18 via a discriminator 10 and a comparator 12. The AND output of the circuit 18 is applied to a trigger output stage 20 of the laser 1 connected to the circuit 18 via a frequency controller 15, a high-voltage DC amplifier 16, and a variable frequency device 17.
