Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the wear-proof, anit-chemical and coated film strength, by providing a protective layer including cellulose resin, polyurethane prepolymer, low molecular weight isocyanate compound as main components and including a low molecular weight fluorine compound of a magnetic layer surface. CONSTITUTION:A protective layer including cellulose resin, polyurethane prepolymer and low molecular isocyanate as major components and including low molecular weight fluorine compound, having <=10,000 molecular weight, is provided on a magnetic layer. For example, 265pts.wt. ''Nitrocellulose H 1 200pts. ''Takelac E-551 '' (polyurethane prepolymer), 20pts. ''Desmodur L '' (low molecular weight polyisocyanate). ''Biducks AR '' (low molecular weight fluorine compound), 250pts. toluene, and 250pts, methy isobutyl ketone are used as mixture and a protective paint layer 3 is provided on a magnetic layer 2 on a polyester film 1. Thus, the abrasion resistance, the resistance to chemicals and the strength of coated film are improved.
