Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a one-pack type adhesive composition having improved leveling property, adhesivity, and flocking strength, and semipermanent pot-life, by compounding a polyurethane resin having terminal isocyanate group and a specific urethane-modified epoxy resin.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a polyurethane resin having terminal isocyanate (NCO) groups [e.g. a urethane prepolymer having terminal NCO groups and obtained by reacting an active-hydrogen-containing compound reactive with NCO group (pref. polyester polyol, etc.) with a polyisocyanate, etc. (pref. aromatic polyisocyanate)], and (B) 3W50pts.wt. of a urethane-modified epoxy resin obtained by compounding and reacting (a) an epoxy resin containing one or more epoxy groups and ≥0.1 hydroxyl group in the molecule with (b) an isocyanate compound so as to give the OH/NCO equivalent ratio of 1/(0.1W3).
