Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition, containing a polyisocyanate mixture of a specific acrylic polyol, etc. with 1,3-bis(isocyanatomethyl)cyclohexane derivative, etc. at a specified ratio, and having improved drying property at a low temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A composition obtained by incorporating (A) an acrylic polyol or polyester polyol having a hydroxyl number of 20W200 and a molecular weight of 1,000W100,000 with (B) a polyisocyanate mixture of (i) 10W50wt% hexamethylene diisocyanate derivative with (ii) 20W70wt% 3-isocyanatomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexyl isocyanate derivative and (iii) 10W50wt% 1,3-bis(isocyanatomethyl)cyclohexane derivative at a ratio between the numbers of the NCO groups in the component (B) and OH groups in the component (A) of 0.6W1.5.
EFFECT: Improved coating film properties.
USE: A repairing coating material for automobiles.
