Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to average the absolute value of acceleration even in the change of mass of load by a constitution wherein the acceleration of the load is supplementarily controlled by means of a directional controlling valve which is actuated by the difference between the pressure of the load just before the start of the actuation of main valves and the working pressure on load. CONSTITUTION:There are provided an accumulator 14 holding the pressure of the load of the main valves 5 and 9 just before the start of their actuation, a cut-off valve trapping said pressure of the load and the directional controlling valve 16 which is actuated by the difference between the pressure at work at the load side of the main valves 5 and 9 and the pressure within the accumulator 14. The closing and opening of the main valves 5 and 9 are so constituted as to be supplementarily controlled by means of the directional controlling valve 16 in accordance with the acceleration of the load by utilizing that the acceleration of the load and said difference between the above-mentioned pressures have a specified relationship between each other. Owing to the constitution as mentioned above, even in the change of the mass of the load, the maximum value of the absolute value of the acceleration of the load can be kept at constant, resulting in enabling to smooth the vertical movement of an elevator.
