Abstract
PURPOSE:To stably seal the slot hole of a rotary electric machine for a long period of time by forming it of a resin layer containing no magnetic powder at the conductor side of a magnetic wedge and a resin layer containing magnetic powder bonded with the previous resin layer containing no magnetic powder at the side opposite to the conductive. CONSTITUTION:A field coil 3 is inserted into a slot 2 perforated at an iron core 1 forming a stator of an electric rotary machine, and the coil 3 is filled without air gap by a slot insulator 4 to be fixed with the peripheral wall 5 and the bottom 6 of the slot 2. A magnetic wedge 9 is sealed in the ole 8 of the slot 2. The wedge 9 is made of a resin layer 10 containing no magnetic powder at the side of the rotary field coil 3 and a resin layer 11 containing magnetic powder bonded with the layer 10 at the opposite side to the field coil 3, and the layers are secured to the peripheral wall 12 of teh hole 8.
