Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the electrical connection of a semiconductive coating material applied on the outside and inside of the slot liner, by using a flexible and porous insulating material as a slot liner. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductive coating material, in which conductive powder is blended in resin such as epoxy and the like, is applied on the outside and inside of a slot liner 12 wherein Tetoron unwoven fabric, glass cloth, and the like are used as an insulating material. There are a number of fine gaps in all the directions in said liner 12. Therefore, the air contained in the liner is gradually pushed out by the infiltration of said coating material 8, and the presence of the air is eliminated. Thus, the semicondcutive coating material on the outside and inside can be readily connected electrically by infiltration of the semiconductive coating into the slot liner.
