Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the winding work efficiency by providing a slot insulator extension, bending the extension and obtaining the insulation between the coil and a magnetic wedge. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a slot insulator extension 12 having a height that is not lower than the level of the lower end of a magnetic wedge inserted into a slot at the slot hole at the upper end of the inner and outer insulator in the state inserted into an iron core, being projected upwardly at the inner and outer peripheral insulators at the side walls faced with the slot insulator and of the size being lower than the slot width. Coil 9 is inserted into the slot 6, is shaped and adhered, and the slot insulator extension 12 is bent at the position c. Thereafter, the wedge 7 is inserted. In this manner, the winding work efficiency can be improved, the deterioration in the insulation at the inserting time can be prevented, and the insulating distance after the insertion can be sufficiently obtained.
