Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an inrush to reposition sequence, by inserting a dummy data to which a discriminating code has been added, by a specific means, even if an external data has been interrupted, in case when a data is stored in a streaming mode. CONSTITUTION:A data from a CPU is sent to a dummy data inserting circuit 305 through a signal line 4 and an interface circuit 300. A signal line 302 becomes logical ''0'' while a data transfer is interrupted, a DET 303 measures a data interrupted time, and sends out an interrupting signal of logical ''1'' for a constant interval of time. The circuit 305 is constituted so that a discriminating code C is added to a data while 304 is logical ''0'', and a dummy data to which a discriminating code C' has been added is outputted continuously onto a signal line 306, while it is logical ''1''. As a result, the storage device executes storage at a high speed without entering reposition sequence. In case when the CPU reads, a decoding circuit 402 detects the discriminating code, and passage of the codes C, C' and the dummy data is inhibited by a gate circuit 405.
