CONSTITUTION:A DC voltage power supply 15 is provided with a Plateau characteristic measuring voltage setting circuit 23 in parallel with a conventional voltage setting circuit 10, and they are switched by a switching device 24. When measuring a Plateau characteristic, the switching device 24 is switched to the circuit 23, the power source 15 and an amplifier 16 are connected with a Plateau characteristic controlling circuit 17 by an applied voltage setting switching circuit 20, an applied voltage measuring switching circuit 21 and an output measuring switching circuit 22.
