Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain lubrication between a larger end of a connecting rod and a cap by forming oil holes on a bearing made of a tubular web that connects a crank shaft pin and a journal thereby providing a firm support of the crank shaft. CONSTITUTION:A crank shaft 3 rotates supported by webs 3c, 3c of large diameter tubular type and shafts 1a, 1b of shaft holes 13, 14 that engage with the webs. An oil dipper 12 projected from the cap 11 of a connecting rod 10 pickes up oil and supplies oil to a piston 9 and the wall of a cylinder 2. The webs 3c, 3c rotate immersed in oil collecting oil in recesses 18, 20 on both sides. The oil from the recess 18 passes through oil holes 22, 23 by centrifugal force to oil the sliding part of the web 3c, 3c in the shaft holes 13, 14, the larger end of the connecting rod 10a, the sliding part between the cap 11 and crankpin 3a to provide lubrication.
