Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A belt 10 is attached to the end part of the arc region of a fan- shaped member which is fixed to a rotation shaft 9 and has a carriage 11 on the surface, and the belt 10 is rotated and moved together with the carriage 11 with the rotation shaft 9 as the center by a pulse motor driving shaft 7. The length (the radius of the fan) between the head position and the center of the rotation shaft and the length (the radius of the disc) between the center of the rotation shaft and the center of the disc are determined properly to approximate the motion of the head to a linear motion. A sufficient stiffness is given to the rotation shaft 9 for the purpose of rotating and moving the head 12 and the disc while keeping the internal between them constant accurately.
