Abstract

PURPOSE:To set and eject a tape cassette smoothly with a simple structure, by turning a supporting member through a driving arm by power of a driving motor and sliding a holding member. CONSTITUTION:When a tape cassette 1 is inserted between a holding member 2 and a cassette cover body 17 from the direction of an arrow C, a driving motor 8 is driven by a detection switch such as a photodetector 18, and a driving arm 5 is rotated in the direction of an arrow D. Thus, since a driving shaft 25 at the tip of the driving arm 5 is moved in the horizontal part of an inverted L-shaped cam groove 23a of the holding member 2, the holding member 2 is moved downward along a long hole 26 for guide of a supporting member 3, and the tape cassette 1 falls. When the tape cassette 1 is moved to a position 1', linear parts of cam grooves 27 and 23a are pressed by the driving shaft 25, and the supporting member 3 and the holding member 2 are turned in the direction of an arrow E and are taken into a main body 16. The driving motor 8 is reversed by the operation of an eject button to eject the tape cassette.
