Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for releasing at all times of compressed air and for correction of pressure by releasing the compressed air in an air feed pipe into water for a short time and measuring the level of the water by the residual pressure thereof. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid valve 9 is opened to release the compressed air fed from a compressor 1 temporarily into water through a filter 2, a stop valve 10 and an air feed pipe 4, thence the valve 9 is closed. The pressure corresponding to the water level is displayed in a pressure gage or pressure transmitter 6. Thereby, the need for releasing the compressed air at all times and the need for correcting pressure are eliminated.
