Abstract

PURPOSE:To positively supply a definite number of products such as pallets, etc. at a high speed, by discharging the products, which have been fed successively, with a prescribed number of the products being clamped between a pair of product engaging surfaces. CONSTITUTION:With empty carriages 37 being positioned below and between product anchoring plates 7, 8, the products 1 such as pallets, etc. are succesively fed with a set pitch therebetween from a product successive supply position 2 to a discharge space D. Levers 12, 13 are rotated down, and the products held between ends 5a, 6a of belts 5, 6 are forced between the engaging surfaces 7a, 8a by the levers 12, 13. When the number of the products 1 held between the engaging surfaces 7a, 8a has reached a prescribed number, a hydraulic cylinder is extended to cause an arm 20 to lower a pushing plate 30 between the anchoring plate 7, 8 to be forced into the carriage 37 so that one of the carriges is moved.
