Abstract
PURPOSE: Natural resin gum is used as a major ingredient to make a new type of unique candy not containing saccharides as a major ingredient.
CONSTITUTION: A purified natural resin gum such as gum arabic is mixed with a powder of beef essence, a bone powder, an onion powder, a soysauce powder and other purified additives, and a small amount of water is added to the mixture to prepare hard paste. The paste is made into granules by means of a high- speed rotation mixer, charged into a mold and pressed. Then, the molded product is fused by heating, released from the mold and stood for drying to give the objective solid product.
