Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics of combustion of gas and to make the long life of a burner plate by a metod wherein the ceramic burner plate is constructed in such a manner that Li constituent and the like are added thereto and some rhombically projected patterns with their four exterior angles being regularly contacted to each other are formed on the surface of the plate. CONSTITUTION:A burner plate 1 is constructed in such a manner that a composite ceramic structure including a fibrous ceramic of alumina fiber or the like and a silica- alumina clay added with 0.1-0.5wt% Li components and with such components as Ni, Mn, Co, Ti, Cu, Fe, Cr, V or the like is formed and some continuous rhombic projection patterns 2 with their four exterior angles being regualarly contacted to each other are formed on the surface of the plate-shaped plate 1. With the above-mentioned arrangement or construction, low heat conductivity may be kept at less than about 0.1kcal/ m.h. deg.C, and surface temperature in the plate may be kept higher than about 900 deg.C without showing any back fire. High thermal radiation may be attained due to a surface structure having some continuous rhombic projection patterns 2. Content of CO in the discharged gas may be reduced due to the presence of Li component and the combustion of gas may be promoted catalytically by an action of other components.
