Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the electric conductivity so as to have wide band characteristics, by forming a layer which is tightly coupled with a metallic substrate by rubber or plastic into which conductive particles have been mixed, in an electromagnetic wave absorber having plural formed substance layers. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic wave absorber is formed by laminating plural formed substance layers 10a, 10b and 10c whose conductive particle contents are different respectively, in order of its density, and tightly coupling its final layer 10d with a metallic substrate 20. In this case, the final layer 10d is formed by rubber or plastic into which conductive particles have been mixed dispersively. In this way, the uniform dispersion of the conductive particles in the final layer 10d, and the control of the electric conductivity are executed easily, and the reflection loss is improved by 5-10dB or so.
