Abstract

PURPOSE:To decide the center frequency by only adjusting the thickness of an absorber, by dispersively mixing ferrite whose volume ratio to rubber or plastic is >=0.15 and <=0.35, and carbonyl iron whose volume ratio is >=0.1 and <=0.25. CONSTITUTION:A microwave absorber is formed by an electromagnetic wave absorbing layer 2 consisting of rubber or plastic into which a magnetic substance has been mixed dispersively, and a metallic plate 1 provided on one surface of the absorbing layer 2. In this case, the magnetic substance is formed by ferrite and carbonyl iron, and the ferrite whose volume ratio to rubber or plastic is >=0.15 and <=0.35, and the carbonyl iron whose volume ratio is >=0.1 and <=0.25 are mixed dispersively. In this way, the center frequency is decided by only adjusting the thickness of the absorber 2, and the yield rate is raised.
