Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve excellent and uniform fixing characteristic even if a recording member is carried in high speed, by providing a transmission means which introduces high frequency in zigzag or meandering toward a direction crossing to the carrying directon of the recording member. CONSTITUTION:A microwave generating source 9 is linked with a flat conductor 14 and a meandering cnuctor 12. The meandering conductor 12 divides the upper surface of a dielectric substance 3 into two almost equal area while meandering toward a cooler 6 from a microwave generator source 9, vertical direction of carrying direction of a recording member 7. When the member 7 passes on the conductor 12, a concentrated electric field is produced around the conductor 12. Thus, if the conductor 12 meanders as shown in the ARROW 11 so that the microwave is as shown in the arrow 11 together with the meandering from, uniform microwave energy over the recording medium itself, and the available image can be printed on the member uniformly without fixing characteristc unevenness.
