Abstract

PURPOSE:To maintain the accuracy of feed pressure at high level by a method wherein a servo valve is driven by a diaphragm which detects the pressure within an outlet passage at the captioned govenor maintaining the feed pressure of water at the predetermined pressure. CONSTITUTION:The pressure within the outlet passage 3 is led through a route 19 to a feedback diaphragm chamber 13. The position of the diaphragm 12, which determines the position of the servo valve adjusting the opening area of a passage 15, is determined by the balance between a spring 17 and the pressure within the passage 3. When the opening area of the passage 15 is changed, the flow rate is changed of the water flowing from a route 20, through the passage 15, the chabmer 13, a passage 18 and the route 19, to the passage 3, resulting in changing the pressure applied through the route 21 to the chamber 6. Accordingly the pressure change within the passage 3 reflects to the displacement of a main valve 4 in such a manner as to maintain the pressure within the passage 3 at the set value. Said set value of the pressure within the passage 3 can be changed by changing the position of a retainer 38 by means of an actuator 16.
