Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a driving mechanism and to facilitate manufacture and maintenance, by a method wherein respective hydraulic motors for driving a rotary body and a traversing stand are separately mounted, and the hydraulic motors are simultaneously actuated to turn the rotary body and traversing stand in a reverse direction to each other. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle body 1 is provided with wheels 2 and outriggers 4. One end of a rotary body 5 is pivotably secured in an eccentric position from a center in a direction of a lateral of a vehicle body 1 on the vehicle body 1, and a traversing stand 6 is revolvably secured above the other end of the rotary body 5. An excavator, such as backhoe, provided with a bucket 14 is secured to the traversing stand 6. A hydraulic motor 26 for driving the rotary body 5 and a hydraulic motor 28 for driving the traversing stand 6 are separately mounted, and the two hydraulic motors 26 and 28 are simultaneously run, the rotary body 5 is caused to turn in a turning direction A being reverse to a turning direction B of the traversing stand 6, the bucket 14 is prevented from emerging from the side of the vehicle body 1, and it is caused to revolve from the front to the rear.
