Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the response property and the reliability at high temperatures, by compositely constituting a reaction electrode part by an electrolytically attached part and a moltenly attached part. CONSTITUTION:A liquid connecting part 2 is provided at the lower part of a vessel 1 and a metallic rod 7 covered by a PTFE tube 6 is provided at the upper part of the vessel 1. A reaction electrode part 13 is formed by providing an electrolytically attached part formed by carrying out the electrolytic treatment of slightly soluble salt or slightly soluble oxide of said metal on the outer circumference of the tip end side of the rod 7 and also, joining a massive moltenly attached part 12 formed by melting and solidifying at the tip of the rod 7 by fitting or welding. By such constitution, service life at high temperatures is long because the part 12 is massive and has high density and also, its reaction area is small and the dissolution of the part 11 is prevented by satisfying the saturation of the solightly soluble salt or slightly soluble oxide with the rise of solubility and then, its surface condition is maintained at a porous condition having a large reaction area even at high temperatures.
