Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an analog switch consisting of low-cost diodes, by using diodes of high speed and low dielectric strength combined with the diodes of low-speed and high dielectric strength. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage is applied between terminals T10 and T30 of a diode bridge, a signal applied to a terminal T20 can be delivered to a terminal T40. In Figure, D11, D21, D31, D41 are high-speed and low dielectric strength diodes and D12, D22, D32, D42 are low-speed and high dielectric strength diodes. In case of an analog switch where it turns on at time t2 and turns off at time t3 as shown in waveform, the turning speed at t2 is high, but the turn ing off requires much time at t3 because of reverse recovery time of diodes. In this invention, since high-speed diodes are employed for each side, they can be turned off at t3 immediately.
