Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of troubles such as overheating and fire, by stopping the operation of an apparatus immediately when a temperature sensitive element is disconnected. CONSTITUTION:In the normal operation, DC voltages which appear in output terminals (a) and (b) of a bridge circuit 1 are operated in accordance with the change of the resistance value of a temperature sensitive element 4. However, if the element 4 is disconnected, a voltage approximating a power source voltage +Vcc is applied to the cathode of a Zener diode 9 to make the diode 9 conductive, and a large current is flowed to a resistance 10 for stabilizing a transistor TR. As the result, the base of a TR11 becomes high-potential, and the TR11 becomes conductive. Consequently, the output current from an active element 6 is flowed to the earth potetial point through an active elemen protecting resistance 12 and the TR11 to cut off the power supply to a heater control circuit 8 for heating.
