Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to set freely and inexpensively consecutive and nonconsecutive numberings in a number printing device by making number changing with number shaft rotation operative or non-operative according to the position of rotation of a groove cam surrounding a number shaft. CONSTITUTION:With a solenoid valve 16 on, compressed air is sent to an air cylinder 11 from an air pipe 17 to the on-operation side, and the rod 12 advances to abut a connection lever 10 a stopper 18 for on. Then, a groove cam 5 rotates with a support shaft 9 as center and changes the relative relation of a groove cam 6 to a numbering device 2 and advances the printing number by one of the numbering device 2 mounted on the number shaft 1.
