The micro-computer 20 gives audio information relating to whether the audio elements have been recognized or not from a speaker 54 via a voice composing circuit 51. Then, the micro-computer 20 makes up a cooking program and starts cooking in response to an audio instruction for starting cooking operation. At the same time, the fact is informed from the speaker 54 via the voice composing circuit 51. Similarly, information relating to the condition of operation, completion of cooking, etc. is also given from the speaker 54.
