PURPOSE:To prevent oxidation and wear of magnetic particles by keeping the particle size distribution for the magnetic particles for a solenoid clutch in a Fuler distribution curve, thus increasing a magnetic flux density. CONSTITUTION:When the excitation coil 2 built in a driving member 1 is energized, magnetic fluxes are formed, and the magnetic particles 8 which form a part of a magnetic path are combined in chain form between the driving member 1 and a driven member 7, and a motive power is transmitted from the driving member 1 to the driven member 7. The particle size distribution of the magnetic particles 8 is formed according to a Fuler distribution curve.
