Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the highly accurate, simple, compact, and light flow cell which is used for spectrochemical analysis and the like of blood and the like, by providing a heating body and a temperature detecting means at the outer surface of the glass flow cell wherein light transmitting windows facing each other are formed. CONSTITUTION:The flow cell body 21 is made of glass which does not yield bubbles in the specimen such as blood in the inside. The light transmitting windows 29a and 29b facing each other are formed for spectrochemical analysis on the parts of the body 21. Meanwhile the heating body 22, which is made of evaporated carbon and the like and operated by electric power, is provided at the outer surface of the body 21. The supplied power is fed back and controlled by a sensor 25, and the specimen in the body 21 is kept at the specified temperature quickly and accurately. Thus the flow cell device which can perform the highly accurate spectrochemical analysis and the like and has the compact and light constitution can be obtained.
