Abstract

PURPOSE:To render a capacity of compressor satisfactorily variable, by opening/closing an unload port in response to a pressure difference between a pressure applied on a pressure port and a suction pressure. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a cylindrical liner 2, a rotor 1 provided rotatably along inner surfaces of a side plate 4 and the liner 2, and a vane 1a provided slidably in a slot formed in the rotor 1, thereby forming an operating space. Further, there is provided with side plate 4 an unload port P1 which allows the operating space to communicate with a suction chamber 3a and also provided with an opening/closing 10 for opening and closing operation of the port P1. The unload port P1 may be opened by the opening/closing valve 10 only when a pressure difference between a fluid pressure applied on the compression area, and a fluid pressure sucked in the operating space is lower than a predetermined value.
