Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the leakage of the fluid from tip of a vane, by prescribing the inner face shape of a housing so that the movable vane is accelerated in the inner direction of a rotor at the position which is a certain angle away from the axial seal portion in counter rotation direction of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder chamber 5 is formed of the inner face 1b of a housing 1, the outer face of a rotor 2 and a movable vane 3. The minute gap is formed between a tip of the movable vane 3 and the inner face of the housing so that the contact due to heat expansion is prevented, thereby the tip of the vane 3 can well make sliding motion. The rotor 2 rotates in the housing 1 and the volume of a cylinder chamber 5 is changed, so that the coolant is sucked into the cylinder chamber 5 through a suction port 6, at the same time the coolant is discharged to a condensing unit through a discharge port 4. The inner face shape 1b of the housing is prescribed so that the movable vane 3 is accelerated in the inner direction of the rotor 2 at the position pi/2 angle away from the axial seal portion in counter rotation direction of the rotor 2, when the vane 3 moves along the inner face shape 1b of the housing 1.
