PURPOSE:In a pneumatic grinding device where the grinding work is performed by driving a vibration applying mechanism through the air pressure, to protect a grip section from being transmitted with the vibration from the body during the grinding work by performing the air-dumping in the enclosed chamber formed between the body and the grip section. CONSTITUTION:The compressed air to be fed through an air conduction path 38 in the shaft section 25 of a grip section 18 is also fed to the first and second circular gap sections 20, 23 tightly closed by a circular vibration-proof rubber 57 to provide an air-dumper chamber 61 filled with the compressed air. Consequently the vibrations in all directions occurring in a tool body 2 during the grinding work can be absorbed by said rubber material 57 and the compressed air layer in said chamber 61, thereby the vibration is not applied on the hand holding the grip section 18 resulting in the stable grinding work.
