Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of nonuniformity of temperature of a heating body by making a metal member for radiation contact with a slender region immediately under a substrate with the heating body arranged on the upper surface thereof and by making excellent thereby the contact of the substrate with heat-radiating boards. CONSTITUTION:A thin metal member 5 having alength enough to cover the heating region of the heating body 1 is provided in the part of the bottom surface located just under the heating body and on the lower side of a ceramic substrate 2 with the heating body 1 of a thermal head formed on the upper surface thereof. The metal member 5 is provided either monolithically with the heat-radiating boards 4B and 4C or separately therefrom and the lower part thereof is made contact with the heat-radiating boards 4.
