Abstract
PURPOSE:To collect heat efficiently and economically, by forming a convex lens in such a manner that a front convex glass member and a rear flat glass member arranged away from each other to form a space that will be filled with water thereby a heater can be heated by heat collected at its focus. CONSTITUTION:A bowl-shaped body 2 of a solar water boiler is formed using a heat insulator the opposite surfaces of which are covered with a light metal, and the front opening of the body 2 has the front convex glass member 1 closely adhered thereto. The flat glass member 1' is attached closely at a position away from the opening of the body 2, and water is filled via a water inlet 3 into the resulting space between the glass members 1, 1' to constitute the convex lens 10 having a large aperture. A solar heat collecting and heating apparatus 5 is placed at the position where the focus of the convex lens 10 is present. The water in the convex lens 10 will be conducted via a water pipe 4 into a heating section 11, and will be evaporated instantly by the apparatus 5 which has been heated to a high temperature.
