Abstract

PURPOSE:To make transparent liquid to collect the solar energy continuously by a method wherein the focuses of a series of hollow transparent convex lenses are matched with the focuses of a series of concave reflector lenses, in which transparent liquid is filled, and a heat collecting pipe is placed on the line connecting these focuses. CONSTITUTION:Hollow lenses C are made of transparent paltes (glass, plastic) A, B and transparent liquid is poured into these hollow lenses, thereby transparent liquid lenses are formed. When solar energy D radiates on hollow lenses C, it converges at focuses F. The energy reflected by concave reflector mirrors E (of paraboroidal surface) placed below also converges at focus F. Hence, heat collecting pipe G is placed on the line connecting these focuses, and it is heated. Transparent liquid is poured from inlet 1.
