Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the wear-resisting inner wall of a cooking range without darkening the inner part thereof by a method wherein the inner surface of the foundation metal forming the inner wall of the range is coated with hardened coat containing powdered SnO2, In2O3 scattered in fluororesin binder. CONSTITUTION:In a range such as an electric oven etc. heating food 2 on a cooking dish 1 by a heater 3 etc., the inner surface of the foundation metal forming the inner wall 4 of the range is coated with hardened coat containing either powdered SnO2 or powdered In2O3 or both of them uniformly and scattered in fluororesin binder. In this case, the principal component of the fluororesin binder is ethylene tetrafluoride polymer and the thickness of the hardened coat is set at 5-40mum. In this manner, dirt does not attach fixedly to the coat and can be cleaned easily, the range is not darkened and excellent wear resistance and high hardness can be given to the inner wall of the range.
