Abstract
PURPOSE:To compensate the raster distortion caused by the fluctuation of a CRT current, by detecting a part of the high pressure to be applied to a CRT and then amplifying the high voltage to feed it back to a part of a deflecting distortion compensating circuit. CONSTITUTION:The detection is carried out to a part of the CRT voltage which is caused by the fluctuation of the CRT current at point A in the figure and modulated by a vertical rate. This detected voltage is controlled by a variable resistance VR2, amplified by a transistor TRTR2 and furthermore receives the amplification and the inversion of phase through a TRTR3. The output is applied to point B of a vertical line compensating output circuit via a DC breaking capacitor C3 and an impedance resistance R5. Then the signal amplified by a TRTR1 is supplied to a winding L2 of a vertical line compensating transformer T1. Thus the maximum point of the raster amplitude is identical with the minimum value of the current flowing to the winding L2, and the inductance increases for windings L1 and L3 to decrease the horizontal deflecting current. As a result, the raster distortion caused by the current fluctuation of the CRT can be compensated.
