Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce considerably the distortion for a feedback speaker system, excluding a magnetic flux detecting coil, a controlling coil and a controlling amplifier by detecting the change of the density of magnetic flux at a gap by means of a Hall element and feeding the detection signal back to power amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A Hall element 2 functioning as a magnetic sensor is attached at the center part of a plate 1 opposite to a voice coil 6 in order to detect the effective magnetic flux density at a gap of a magnetic circuit. A power amplifier 9 receives the speaker driving input signal from an input terminal 10, and the driving current is supplied to the coil 6 via a route 11 by the output the amplifier 9. The element 2 detects the change of the effective magnetic flux density at the gap of the magnetic circuit which is caused by the driving current of the coil 6. This detection signal is applied to a buffer amplifier 8 via the route 7. The amplifier 8 amplifies the detection signal given from the element 2 up to a prescribed amplitude and feeds the output signal back to the amplifier 9 to compensate the driving current of the coil 6.
