Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the time for doffing by stabilizing the operation for doffing and promoting the releasing of a fully wound-up package from bobbin bearings. CONSTITUTION:In this device, one bearing part 29R supporting one end of a yarn-winding bobbin B for rotation is movable in the direction of the axis of the bobbin B to a cradle arm 44R, and the connecting part between another bearing part 29L and a cradle arm 44L can be swung in one body. Meanwhile, an auxiliary means 59 is constructed to rotate round an axis 60 crossing the shaft of the bobbin almost at right angles for pushing one end of the bearing part 29L via a push member 62 provided near the bearing part 29L at a doffing position G. Consequently, a fully wound-up package can be quickly stopped just after it is released from a drive roller 5, and smoothly released from bobbin bearings 29R and 29L without any trouble. The fully wound-up package issued on an auxiliary rail 45 can also be controlled in its position for stabilizing the operation of doffing.
