PURPOSE:To transmit signals efficiently by mixing and assigning analog and digital signals, quantized in accordance with a mode instruction, in a frame on bit basis, by a system which transmits different kinds of signals from a transmission point to a reception point simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:An analog signal is converted by a quantizing block 11 into digital codes a'', b''..., which are sent to a tramsitted-signal form block 13. Digital codes alpha, beta...,on the other hand, are sent to the block 13 through a digital-code processing block 12 or converted into time-series codes a1, a2... in a special case to be sent to the block 13. A block 14 receives the output of the block 13 through a transmission line 17 and converts it into the input signal form of the block 13, and contents given by an instruction P are supplied to a Q again to be decoded according to it.
