Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform multiband tuning with extremely simple constitution by moving a corresponding channel selection member forth selectively through a shifting means equipped between a push button and corresponding channel selection members. CONSTITUTION:When a bridge piece 37 presses a push buttton 17 from an AM- band channel selection member 1, one channel selection member 1 moves forth and a bevel gear 11 provided atop of it engages with a bevel gear 47 facing it to be held. Then, a manual shaft 49 is turned to transmit its rotation to a shaft lever 5, whose rotation move regulating part pieces 8a and 8b in relative directions. when their movement permits one collision part 7b to collide against the tip of one slanting edge 15b, a transverse plate 13 moves to left to make the other slanting edge 15a collides against a collision part 7a. During the period, the transverse plate 13 traverses and its transverse stroke varies a variable tuning element to select some channel, whose frequency is stored in the form of distance between the collision parts 7a and 7b.
