Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency of the system in position control of an XY table employing the DC servomotor having a pulse generator, by detecting the breakdown or semi-breakdown of the wire of the pulse generator positively, and finding the abnormality of the servomotor in an early stage. CONSTITUTION:The speed feedback from a tachogenerator 4 attached to the DC servomotor 3 and the position feedback from the pulse generator 5 are performed, and feedback signal PFB from the pulse generator 5 is given to an abnormality detecting circuit 6. In said abnormality detecting circuit 6, the breakdown or semi-breakdown of the wire of the pulse generator 5 is judged by the presence or absence of the feedback signal PFB. When the abnormality is detected, an abnormal signal ER is sent to a control circuit 1. In this constitution, since the abnormality of the servomotor (pulse generator 5) can be found in the early stage, the occurrence of the detective products due to misalignment can be prevented, and the working efficiency of the system can be enhanced.
