Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the accuracy of processing and to reduce the deterioration of Q, by processing the resonator of cilindrical type torsional oscillation system constituting a mechanical metallic filter through the use of n-sets of laser light equally shared on a circular circumference to a center axis. CONSTITUTION:The resonance frequency of a resonator 4 of a cylindrical type torsional oscillation system is measured at a resonance frequency measuring device 2, it is compared with an objective frequency with a controller 3 to calculate the frequency deviation to be processed. Succeedingly, the device 3 obtains the laser emitting position on the end of the resonator 4 in response to the amount of processing and radial alignment is made by a linear driving device 6. Furthermore, the resonator 4 is turned around the center axis through a rotating driving unit 5 and laser processing is made by radiating laser from a laser device 1 at the same time. The frequency of the resonator 4 is adjusted by repeating said steps. Thus, the frequency deviation is reduced to 1/n through the use of n-sets of laser, and processing accuracy is increased by the radiated position to be accessed to the center axis. Further, the processed holes are uniformly distributed to the center axis to decrease the deterioration of Q.
