Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the crosstalk, by dividing semiconductor light emitting elements into two groups to make the timing of information transfer different in these groups in case of the multiplex transmission due to semiconductor light emitting elements different in wavelength of emitted light. CONSTITUTION:Four light emitting elements LE1-LE4 different in wavelength are divided into two groups, and the first group consists of the LE1 and the LE3, and the second group consists of the LE2 and the LE4. When light emitting elements LE1-LE4 are arranged according to wavelength, the light is not branched completely by a light branching filter to generate crosstalk components shown by oblique lines 12-15 from signals of adjacent wavelengths if respective wavelengths are close to one another. Lights of elements LE1 and LE3 of the first group are transmitted at timings a1-a3, and lights of elements LE2 and the LE4 of the second group are transmitted at timings b1-b3, and thus, the light wavelength multiplex transmission is possible without crosstalk components 12-15.
