Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a simplified and light weight absorber with reduced number of parts by providing a piston in a cylinder having a plurality of vertical oil grooves inside and using this also as valve case in the periphery of valve assemblies.
CONSTITUTION: A piston 4 having a check valve assembly 2 inside is slidably engaged in a cylinder 1 containing oil inside. The piston 4, having on the inside surface a plurality of vertical oil grooves 7, serves as a valve case in the periphery of the assembly 2 reducing the number of parts as compared with conventional absorbers having separate valve cases.
